Malaria Consortium to address the 4th Global Health System Research Symposium

The fourth Global Health System Research Symposium will commence Monday with the theme ‘resilient and responsive health systems for a changing world’. The symposium will include over one hundred 90-minute concurrent sessions detailing cutting edge research, strategies for developing capacity, and innovative practice in health systems development.

Malaria Consortium Programme Coordinator, Kevin Baker, will present key findings on the performance of four selected respiratory rate timers for the detection of symptoms of pneumonia in children at the community level by front line health workers.

Malaria Consortium’s presentations will include research on healthcare strengthening, integrated community case management, behaviour change strategies, and the development of diagnostic tools.
