Guardian Journalism Competition- Articles available to read

23 November 2011

London, 23 November 2011: Malaria Consortium is proud to have taken part for the third year in the Guardian Development Journalism Competition 2011. On Thursday 17 November, the award ceremony, held at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, saw the 16 shortlisted professional and amateur journalists come together and receive high praise for their final articles after undertaking a wide range of trips overseas hosted by the supporting NGOs, including Malaria Consortium.

The stories written by our two journalists, Charlotte Jenner and Paige McClanahan, were very well received and Paige was runner up in the professional category. You can read their final articles on the competition website at the Guardian.  You can also read more about their trips and themes here.

We would like to congratulate the winners in the professional and amateur categories as well as all participating journalists.
