Dr Sylvia Meek scholarship in Entomology enrolments are complete!

Since the inception of the Dr Sylvia Meek scholarship in Entomology, thanks to the generous donations of so many in memory of Sylvia, we have partnered with three universities in Thailand, Nigeria and South Africa to support a new generation of entomologists enrol in entomology courses. Last week, we enrolled our final student in this current intake - you can learn about each of them and their hopes for their respective courses below.

You can view a new section of our website dedicated to the memory of Sylvia where you can learn more about her, read her work and learn more about the scholarship.

We would also like to use this opportunity to thank all of the donors to the scholarship fund for their generosity. It is our intention for the scholarship to be in place for at least a second intake later in 2018 - more details to follow soon!
