Malaria Consortium marks World Pneumonia Day 2017

Blog: Saving lives and transforming communities in Nigeria

Malaria Consortium's Portia Reyes blogs on her recent visit to communities in Niger state, Nigeria to document the impact of the Rapid Access Expansion programme, pioneering the implementation of integrated community case management.


This project facilitates the combined treatment of pneumonia alongside other illnesses such as malaria and diarrhoea through the training of community health workers.
