World Economic Forum

The 47th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum will take place in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland. This year's theme “Responsive and Responsible Leadership” calls on leaders to renew their dedication to achieve common goals and drive new initiatives. They are not only accountable to the people who have entrusted them to lead, but must also inspire and help guide the way forward, so that people can imagine—and build—a better future.

WEF offers an opportunity to heighten awareness and galvanise action towards the implementation of the 2030 Agenda. A number of sessions and side events will focus on the SDGs, including the intersection between development and humanitarian action in a time of growing conflict, with the participation of global champions for health and wellbeing—e.g. members of the High-Level Steering Group for Every Woman Every Child, SDG Advocates, celebrities and political leaders.
