World Malaria Day 2012
World Malaria Day 2012 - Sustain Gains, Save Lives: Invest in Malaria
World Malaria Day - 25th April - is a perfect opportunity to celebrate the progress made in the last decade. There have been new and higher levels of funding for malaria control and the number of deaths has fallen by a third since 2004.
But over three million people are still at risk and in 2010, an estimated 655,000 people died from malaria, so we still have a long way to go to reach the target of near-zero deaths by 2015.
This World Malaria Day invest in malaria and play a part in saving lives! Don't let the gains we have made be lost.
