The CCM Essentials Guide, published in English in 2010, has become a key tool in the implementation of Integrated Community Case Management (ICCM) of diarrhoea, pneumonia and malaria. It is intended as a practical guide for designing, implementing and evaluating ICCM interventions. The guide was developed for programme managers, including district and national officials, NGO and government partners.
A French version of the Guide was launched at the Core Group Spring Meeting and is now available to read and disseminate from the Core Group website. In addition, the one-page graphic and flyer are also available to download.
Sharing of similar tools is key in strengthening the global effort to reduce childhood mortality; common guidelines and materials can support in streamlining processes globally and increasing equity of service delivery.
