Malaria Consortium’s International office is in London, UK. This office is responsible for overseeing and managing the technical, management and finance functions of the organisation as a whole, as well directing and advising on a lot of specific work conducted through the regional and country offices. Four of the eight directors of Malaria Consortium are based here.

Malaria Consortium International takes the lead on a series of malaria advocacy, communication and fundraising initiatives that are transforming the landscape in the UK, Europe and many African countries. Advocacy initiatives focus on mobilising parliamentarians, media and civil society in the fight against malaria. Malaria Consortium works closely with the UK All-Party Parliamentary Group on Malaria and Neglected Tropical Diseases (APPMG) in this regard.

Malaria Consortium International leads the organisations active engagement in global policy and strategy networks. It has taken up the role of Northern NGO representative on the Roll Back Malaria Board for example. UK staff participate actively in several of the RBM partnership working groups including the Monitoring and Evaluation Reference Group (MERG),Scalable Vector Control (WIN), Malaria Advocacy Working Group (MAWG) and Harmonisation Working Group (HWG).

Malaria Consortium International contributed to the development and drafting of the Roll Back Malaria Partnership Global Malaria Action Plan.
