World Malaria Day

"World Malaria Day" was established and approved at the 60th World Health Assembly (WHA) in March 2007. It replaced "Africa Malaria Day" which had been commemorated every year since 2001 on 25 April and aims to provide education and understanding of malaria as a disease that is preventable and treatable.
Around World Malaria Day, Malaria Consortium engages in a wide range of activities to raise awareness of the disease. This year, Malaria Consortium offices are involved in or organising the following:
