Mission Statement
The Mission of the Malaria Consortium is the relief of sickness among poor people suffering from diseases, particularly malaria, and the protection of health of poor people at risk of contracting such diseases.
Vision
The Vision of the Malaria Consortium is to become a recognised international resource, creating regional centres of expertise in malaria endemic areas, working together with partners to control malaria and other diseases to achieve better health.

The Malaria Consortium aims to:
- Increase the delivery of services to hard-to-reach populations and vulnerable groups especially in post-conflict situations.
- Increase coverage with preventive interventions of the poorest populations.
- Improve access to effective treatment for those populations most affected and reduce mortality.
- Improve capacity in partner countries and organisations to control malaria & communicable diseases.
- Advocate for an increased and improved response to malaria & communicable diseases.
