Christmas Appeal 2009
Help us to provide nets and healthcare to the children of Southern Sudan
Child survival rates are shockingly low throughout Southern Sudan, and too many
children die before their fifth birthday. There is very little ante natal care available,
and new-born babies are especially at risk due to lack of healthcare and support.
Malaria is one of the biggest killers of these babies and vulnerable children who
are among the poorest in the world. We work to prevent and treat malaria and our
unique structure and robust approach means we can deliver programmes that are
highly effective and have instant impact. Help us to provide some of the world’s
most vulnerable children with better health care and a future free from malaria.
We rely on the generosity of our supporters. Even a small amount of money can
make a BIG difference and help us in our vital work. Malaria control is one of the
most cost effective health programmes available and we ensure your money is
used to maximum effect.
For every pound donated to Malaria Consortium over 95% is spent on our programmes.
Your gift can transform lives.
- £5 buys a net to protect two lives
- £30 pays for 6 nets which will protect twelve children from malaria for up to 5 years
