In Mali, ACCESS-SMC covers 20 medical districts targeting 1.5 million children aged 3 to 59 months. This year, new technologies for the transmission of information have been integrated as an important step in data qualification. Catholic Relief Services has supported the National Malaria Control Program to design a paper-to-digital data collection process where District Data Managers use devices to input campaign data, such as the number of children seen, the number of drugs dispensed, the number of serious adverse effects as well as referrals for analysis and action.
