Prevention of malaria in pregnancy

The use of intermittent preventive treatment in pregnancy (IPTp) with sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine  increased over time in both Uganda sites (IPTp is not implemented in Ethiopia). In Aduku and Butemba, 39% and 40% of women who gave birth within two years preceding the survey took three or more doses of IPTp in round 4, respectively.
