ASEAN Dengue Day

June 15 is ASEAN (Association of South East Asian Nations) Dengue Day. Since the official launch in 2011 in Jakarta, Indonesia, the day provides an opportunity for collective advocacy to highlight innovative and effective strategies in the prevention and control of dengue. Simultaneous activities at regional, national and sub-national levels are organised every year on this day to raise awareness on dengue, and to mobilise resources for prevention and control involving private and public sector stakeholders.
